c.1962 Marx Baseball Pinball Game in Original Box

Outstanding tin litho Baseball theme marble game in its original box. Features a unique baseball diamond shape plus spring loaded batter. Marbles are still contained within the confines of both original black pins; still taped (yellowed) in place.

Features the 9 players plus batter lithoed onto a green and almond colored field. Shallow depressions for outs and base hits are noted. Home runs are scored when the marble touches the "back field". Three raised slots at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd bases keep track of player positions using pennies. Score is kept on the right side by using a non-indelible marker. Not included....You were supposed to use your own. Instructions are lithoed on the reverse side of the field.

The box was printed in green and white showing batters, diamonds, and game name. Directions were again printed on the back of the box. The box edges fold up and over the sides of the game to keep it from falling out.

Size: Box 10½" square x 2" deep.
